I was so excited to finally get to take this family's photos! Back in 2011 we took their photos, it was with my old camera, and it was an absolutely miserable day - snowing, sleeting, wind blowing -- freezing! But we trudged through and came out with what, at the time, I thought were some pretty great shots!
I am so grateful that this family has given me another opportunity to capture their amazing family! Russ & Diane both had big families and when they got married their family stretched even farther, so that they now have 10 kids (lovingly adding in Austin, Kimber's boyfriend) between them. My first instinct is to believe that it's crazy insane living at their house, but experience has taught me differently. Of course, they all have their different ways, but they're such a cohesive family that you would never know that their family was as big as it is.
I want to do something fun with this blog post, because I think it's absolutely amazing to look back at their photos from 2011. Everyone in this family has changed soooo much. You wouldn't believe that 2 years does that, but apparently it does. So without further ado, here is my fun then/now blog post of the Howell-Ellis family! The photos with the watermark are the newest (obviously).
Starting with the baby of the family:
Brody
Then the Triplets:
Matthew
Martin
Mick
Moving into the high schoolers:
Huck
Coda
Melanie
And finally the oldest siblings:
Kimber
Justin
Here are the rest of the photos, I am so grateful, like I said, that this family gave me another chance to prove to them how nice family photos can turn out! Thanks again to the Howell-Ellis family!

Thanks to Austin who, while he wouldn't let us take just his picture, was such a great sport with all the others! |
P.S. For those of you who read my blog on a frequent, non-photo sense basis, stay tuned for some absolutely amazing news!
