A Touch of the Past: Baby Q

Hey everyone! I hope that everyone's spring breaks and Easter breaks have been fun, relaxing, and enjoyable! I know mine have - the reason for the fact that I haven't been on here in ages! But I do have a fun story. About a month ago now, a friend of mine who is a nurse and works in the pediatric center here in town, contacted me. She told me that the center was getting a makeover and was having a new grand opening to celebrate. She asked me if I'd like to give away a free newborn session. Well, obviously, who would give up the opportunity for free marketing!? I jumped on it! Except I then procrastinated it. I hope if you are one of the people who took my cards that you realize I really am not as scatterbrained as I sound (not always anyway). Needless to say, the event was a success and I was soon contacted by Alyssa who needed some baby pictures for sweet Baby Q to print up some invitations to his blessing.

I will be completely honest with all of you, baby shoots make me nervous. Like the shaky, sweaty nervous. I love them, I love how cute they are, but most of the time, they need to be indoors - which is completely outside my comfort zone. But rocketed on my success with Baby A's shoot, I was empowered to do my best!

Baby Q is such a sweet little boy, with a beautiful smile! He was so animated, more so than I've ever seen, and it really helped capture some of his over-the-top adorableness. Even when he began to get a little cranky (babies really don't have the patience like adults/kids do) he was still giving us everything he had and it was sooo cute!

Without further ado, here is Baby Q!

He's so stinkin' cute!

Such a good big brother :)

Alyssa, you have two beautiful boys!
