Seniors :: The Beautifully, Talented Julia

With this session, I had sooo much fun! I have really started to enjoy working with seniors. They're all so excited about the future and have so many plans and are just adorable. Julia was no different!

I wasn't as nervous for this shoot as I was Gio's, but there will always be that sort of uncertainty that comes with taking and creating memories for someone. I always get nervous that I won't get what they picture!

She has this poise and grace that make her seem much more mature. She was hard to crack and actually get that real smile, but when we did it was brilliant! Julia has been a part of the high school band all through her years there and does not only marching band, but also did jazz band her junior year and is a drum major; she plays clarinet and bass clarinet. She is very involved with school activities because of this and we had the fun idea that we should take some photos at the high school! It was different and a lot of fun. Apparently she helped paint the steps and we got a few of her hand print :)

I was able to talk to her while we shot photos and found out she's going to go to Utah Valley University this fall to study Forensic Science. She is very grounded and had a very easy, going nature. I know that she will achieve anything she sets her mind to and am happy to present her photos!

Her eyes are absolutely stunning!

I'm going to get a reputation for making people climb things!

There is just something so serene about this photo, I love it!

There's one of those rare real smiles :)

Julia's mom Becky found this awesome train car as we were headed away from our first location, it was amazing!

Good luck Julia! You'll do great :)

  1. Thank you so much for capturing Julia's essence on camera. She's an amazingly talented, determined and fun young lady. I'm proud to be her mom.
