Welcome to the Disneyland California Grand Hotel: Day 1

So we finally made it! This morning we left Tooele at 4 am to get to Lehi by 5. Then it was a nice jaunt over to California! I tell you though, nothing says travel like riding in a government van. Can you say a whole bench to yourself?! I don't think I've ever slept as much as I did, probably because I didn't a) have to keep my mom awake, and b) I could spread out, curl up with my book, blanket, and pillows, and sleep! We made awesome time coming in right around 10 hours for the whole trip. I've never been in such luxury. Right now I'm a stones throw away from both Disneyland and California Adventures, and if I wanted to, I could walk right into CA from my hotel! We've got the door open, it's a still-nice temperature of 70 degrees, so we've got our balcony door open and a nice breeze is coming in. We also get to listen to the street performers in Downtown Disney. One, of whom, we actually had to go see in person! He has this concoction of bongo drums, chimes, a gong, and a load of other cool instruments that he plays standing up! It sounds soo neat :) here's a few pictures to tide those of you begging for them over! :)
