This weekend has started out very iffy but has gotten better. Definitely. Got to sleep in, for the most part and then we made waffles :) and then we basically started right into pies. We had to bake 34 pies (still baking actually, about halfway thru). It's going to be a loooong night. One that I personally will have no problem staying awake during ;)
I really can't stand pumpkin pies. The house smells like pumpkin and I feel like my hands are coated in it, no matter how often I wash them. We're running out of room to stack them as well. I will be so glad after tomorrow! It's a great fund-raiser, don't get me wrong, it just feels never-ending.
Today's challenge, which is my last challenge sadly, is one thing that I'm excited about.
There have been a lot of new changes in my life lately and I think that it has opened quite a few doors. I know I've made mention of this a few times, and I'm still going to stay pretty cryptic as to specifics because I think that sometimes if something has happened and you make too big a deal of it too soon, it can mess it up before it even begins. That being said, it's not a real specific thing: it's not a job, it's not a relationship, it's not a move to a new house. It's nothing too specific like that, just that the way things have stacked lately I feel like I can be excited about what the future holds :) I'd love to know what you all think.
Maybe I'll need to find a new challenge :) I keep getting told I need to do a photo challenge. Maybe I will. But make sure to check back in!
